Big Pharma 2.0

Mark Senak of Eye on FDA has a great post today on his conversation with Marc Monseau, J&J’s Director of Corporate Communications for Social Media and Rob Halper, J&J’s Director of Video Communications, on Johnson & Johnson’s dedication to social media.

We’ve talked about the ever-growing influence of social media  on physicians and  how Big Pharma has been afraid to join in the conversation, but it’s refreshing to hear a Big Pharma company who is not afraid to expand its digital footprint.

As of today, J&J has a YouTube channel, a corporate blog, and a presence on Facebook. Is this the start of bigger and better things for Big Pharma? Listen to Mark’s interview here.
